Troy,

It is always a special occasion to receive one of your poems in my box.

Just now, you stopped me in my tracks, honestly, mid breath. My heart aches for you and yours.

I sat down and wrote;

Someday I may just decide I would like to go on an adventure again.

If I don’t get the chance to tell you, it’s only because I didn’t have

time

I hope you don’t mind, I’ve packed your gentle touch to carry with me.

I promise I’ll write

everyday

You’ll find me right there in your heart in case you’d like to reply. I’ve left you all of my

memories

because each one of them contains love .

Ten ravens converged on our corner,

one for each year we had together,

reminders of how a murder can be kind

when the suffering is too great.

- This stanza moved me. What a beautiful poem to find our way through the canyon of grief. Love to your sweet boy and all the ways he will be missed 💛
