Once again we are plunged into what appears a dark night of the collective soul — challenged by beliefs, tested by conscience, ridiculed by rage, criticized by insecurity, tempted by righteousness. Once again we must resurface into what is informed by life and breath, grounded in equanimity comforted in knowing there’s a better way, when we remember who we are meant to be. If you’re looking for someone to rage with you, there are seven billion, nine hundred and ninety-nine million, nine hundred and ninety-nine thousand, nine hundred and ninety-nine other people you can look to and depend upon. If you’re looking for someone to hold compassion with you, to see the sadness on a stranger’s face, and use the fires in our hearts as a means to light a path of peace, you can look to and depend upon me.

Standing right beside you Troy. Offering the same.
This is a beauty. Caught me off guard with a few tears. As your poems can have their way with me unexpectedly.
As I said to @darrenharley on his last poem - I see you .
And what Lor said!
